LIT (Leadership in Training) is a discipleship program for teens age 15 and up. It consists of solid biblical teaching, lifelong friendships, great fun, and growing in relationship with God and others. The program is designed to help teens go deeper with God and learn what serving in ministry is all about. This will be done through teaching sessions, mentoring, and practical experience.
At the discretion of the LIT leaders at the end of LIT camp, they will be placed in an area of ministry for anywhere between 1 and 5 weeks. Areas of service may include food services, (dishwashing, dining room set up, kitchen, and tuck), maintenance (house-keeping, janitorial, and work projects) and specialized activity areas (assisting teaching a skill to campers or Jr. cabin leading).
This program works to prepare LITs for future ministry in their church and elsewhere.
You must be 15 years old to begin Level 1 of this training. To apply, download the application and mail to the address on the form.
